Giving
Most of the children under BLCDF’s care have been discarded, abused, unwanted, or orphaned, although some of the children have simply come out of a situation where a parent just needed help. The Foundation’s Fund seeks to support as many of these children as possible and has four Projects which Supporters can choose to donate to. 10% of the Donations to the Foundation are sown in LOVE to provide extra care and support for the older vulnerable widows of Katunda Village, who are not able to move around easily and have become dependent on others for their physical care.
Founded in 2013, The BLCDF Foundation is a legally registered Ugandan Not for Profit Organisation. BLCDF is a Christian Child Care Ministry that looks after vulnerable, orphaned and needy children in Katunda Village, Jinja, Kampala.
In February 2023 the Agape Star Christian School was opened, a private Christian school located in Namatovu village, Buikwe District.

Education Scholarship Program
Give the gift of an Education with our Education Scholarship Program. The yearly Scholarship cost for each child for school fees is $350AU which includes a Uniform, their yearly Tuition, Medical care where neeeded, and a daily meal.
Scholarship Donors receive Educational reports, letters and Photos so they can view progress. Once you’ve purchased this, our team will be in touch with next steps.
