God has proved very faithful to us. We have had the number of children under the BLCDF Education Scholarship Program increase. Brendah, Benitah, Peace, Peter, Shatra, Hassan, Namala, Shadia, Charles, and Christine are among the many children benefiting. It is His love that we have had our friends bless the little angels with the opportunity to have a better and quality education.
It is in this very season, that we received the phase 1 donation for the construction of Agape Star Christian School. We have already taken steps in processing everything and we can’t wait to start the building in June.
The Deborah Women in Business Collective’s cookery/baking project began after a long period of struggling to have the rightful trainer. We bless God for it all.
It is in this very year that School resumed after 2 years for all children in Uganda. Our children are so grateful. Since the school opened up early this year, we have had fewer engagements with them but have utilised Sundays to worship, have bible study, eat, and play games with all of the children (about 100 who attend church) and in our BLCDF School Holiday Program. A couple of Sundays ago, our youth and children’s pastor taught on a subject that is as vast and deep as the ocean: God’s great love.
Because of His great love, we can be forgiven of our sins.
Because of His great love, we can have eternal life.
Because of His great love, we can love others.
Yes, His love compels us, moves us, and empowers us. And so it was an honour and a privilege to watch the children’s eyes light up. We hope that as we reach out to our children; they never tire of hearing about God’s love and sharing it with others. We hope the same for our team and for you. May we never find ourselves doing life, doing ministry, apart from His great love.
